This necklace is incredibly important to me and I remember how long it had been since a very important girl in my life gave it to me. I realized you never truly know what you've got until it's gone. And this girl may still be in my life, but not in the way she used to be. I kept thinking about time, and how I'd wait forever for her. And how this necklace was once hers... She had it for fifteen years before giving it to me. And I just found that taking a picture of the stopwatch and the necklace would make sense to show in an aspect that time is a very precious thing.

I suppose the song Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift just reminded me of the day the girl gave this necklace to me. Because I do remember her asking me not to leave her alone that night. She was going through a dark place at the time with memories and what not from her past. And I told her I never would. So the song reminds me of her, and in a sense, how I promised she'd be safe so long as I'm around.
